In the first quarter of 2021, the Card Battler genre on iOS in Europe demonstrated interesting trends. Here, we'll dive into the performances of the top five applications, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower.

Mighty Party: Battle Heroes saw a notable uptrend in weekly active users, from 68K in the last week of December to 180K by the end of March. Downloads also rose significantly, from 21K to 66K, while revenue increased from $65K to $119K in the same period.

Blizzard Entertainment's Hearthstone maintained a consistent base of weekly active users, starting at 182K and peaking at 186K. Downloads showed a slight upward trend, with an increase from 12K to 14K. Revenue saw a dramatic boost in the final week of March, jumping to $265K.

KONAMI's Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links experienced a fluctuating quarter, with weekly active users starting at 99K and ending at 89K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 8K to 6K. Revenue peaked in mid-January at $203K but settled at $99K by the end of March.

Wizards of the Coast's newly released Magic: The Gathering Arena entered the market in late March. In its first week, the game garnered 42K downloads and 22K weekly active users, with revenue at $22K. By the following week, downloads had increased to 53K, active users doubled to 48K, and revenue tripled to $64K.

Lastly, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter launched mid-March and saw downloads drop from 37K in its release week to 7K two weeks later. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, from 33K to 11K. Revenue was modest, starting at $1K and falling to $693.
